thats a big relief.. many thanks@teddy2019 for the response. We may have to travel again with in 3 weeks time, so will initiate the application for Re-issuance soon before travel.

Travelled to Kochi on 19th May and returned on 02 Jun 19 without any issues. Immigration officer did not even ask for old expired passport where OCI U-sticker was stamped. Did any one come across such situation..

If I apply for 2 years visa will they reject it or give only 6 months visa or will they give a valid visa till Jun 2015 the day when my Visa expires..?
