All uk children below the age if 18 have an entitlement to register as british once either parent gets ilr. There is no absence limit for uk born children. If you plan on registering the child as british once ypu get ilr, no need for a visa. However note that the child only gets 3 months free nhs after birth, after which you have to pay at 150% cost if you dont get a visa for the child. So make sure you have medical insurance. She should have taken out travel/medical insurance BEFORE travelling to the UK. She does not qualify for any NHS treatment and will be billed at 150% of cost if she uses the NHS. How long can a person stay in UK with a 6 month Visitor visa in a calendar year ? As per guidelines , maximum stay can be upto 6 month in a single visit however, is that calculated in a calender year.

I am trying to submit a vistior visa application for my mother however, its showing me to pay standard visa fee before redirecting to VFS website. I wants to apply for priority service .

Tier 2 dependents have full work rights and she can work full time or on contract basis. Your spouse can also form a limited company if required.

Thanks. So how the duration is calculated for ILR on Skilled Visa ( Tier 2 previously ) . The old BRP card had validity from 11.07.2019- 14.08.2021 ( Tier 2 general) , the new BRP card have validity from 17.08.2021 - 27.08.2024. Looks like there is a gap of 2 days. Today i have got my BRP ( Skilled worker Extension ) with valid date starting from 17th August 2021 to next 3 years . My previous leave did expired on 14th ( Tier 2 ) .
Will this cause any issues when i go for ILR.

BRP Appointment and Visa Expiry

Hello, We got an BRP appointment for application ( Tier 2 - Now skilled worker Extension) for 10th August whereas,its expiring on 14th August . Will that cause any issues or its normal considering there no appointments available on before that date. The Application was submitted on 10th July. Thanks
