Received my invite today for 2nd March, 3pm.

I don't see many confirmations for 3rd so more invites are obviously yet to be posted or en-route so there is still hope for all those still waiting.

I went to my own branch and it was deducted from my account (via my debut card). You could try any bank to see.

Remember there is a fee payable to get one also.

Sometimes they keep hold of it for some weeks.
They will send your passport back to you though if you request it. They may however request that you send it back to them when they send it back to you or at a later stage.

Mine was sent back to me in registered post if I remember correctly.

If it's the same as me which is most likely (UK citizen), you just send photos and payment only. Am I right in thinking there's no need to get the photos signed by a solicitor at the approval stage? You just need to write your application reference on the back of each. Solicitor/notary not required.

Yes although you won't be a citizen until you have been to the ceremony.

The next letter you will receive is the ceremony invitation.

It's the 12 months prior to your application. So if you apply in Feb 2020 you calculate from Feb 2019.
