Re: More than 6 weeks outside the country per year

I was in a similar situation and had 1 or 2 years where I was out of country for more than 6 weeks. But that being said, out of those 6 weeks, 3-4 weeks were due to my work activities and business travel - which I couldn't avoid. What I did - split those absences in two and on a sheet I provided tw...

Re: More than 6 weeks outside the country per year

In your case 53+67 days. not to scare you and I'm not 100% sure but gap between stamp is not good but there is nothing you can do abou...

LTR Documents

Hi ,

What all documents are needed for LTR application based on stamp1 and stamp 4.

1) Do we need to provide copy of all pages of passport ?
2) Do we need to provide copy of all previous GNIB/IRP cards?
3) what exactly means by copy of applicant's work permits ?

Re: Long term Residency and naturalization

Thanks hako, great information. I'm looking to apply for LTR based on 2 years CSEP and 4 years Stamp 4. From your story, I got little more information about the process.

Can I also ask after LTR, you still have to register for IRP card and what is the validity of IRP card (2/3/5/10 years)?

Re: Regarding CSWP and Promotions

In addition , its better to inform the department about this change as far as I remembered permit states - if there is any change in details mentioned in permit changes inform them and 'Title is mentioned on permit'. There should not be implications if it's promotion with no change in original respo...

Re: Regarding CSWP and Promotions

No , there is no impact and it's a common scenario , issue is if there is change in responsibility or title change from engineer to consultant that time they may question. If you want to be on safe side, you can write an email or letter informing the department about this change with letter from HR ...

Re: Calculating ansense is it Calendar Year or Year backward from application date

I had a chat with an immigration solicitor friend, and he is of the same opinion that this is based on the application date rather than the calendar year. They had a few rejected naturalisation cases and they were all calculated based on application date. I’m interested to know whether it’s simply ...

Re: Calculating ansense is it Calendar Year or Year backward from application date

Hi, Based on the information that i received from citizenship department via email, it is per calendar year. also based on this reply, it seems that if your work absences are not for a period longer than 6 weeks in a year, that means you dont need to explain them or list them. " Thank you for your ...
