I assume Acknowledgement does not mean your appeal allowed as they always acknowledged that your request has been received and will take decision accordingly
Please have a look the letter and consult your solicitor

You are supposed to send grounds atleast one week before the hearing so home office solicitor get to know your grounds, u can carry some docs if needed but not all on the day of hearing
