You can’t get a British passport if your foreign passport has a different name on it.

Re: British Citizenship Ceremony - going out of country

As stated above, technically ILR is lapsed once you have attended the ceremony and have signed and dated certificate in hand, having said that, A British citizen cannot be denied entry at the border. Re: British Citizenship Ceremony - going out of country

Technically, yes, but realistically the airlines won't refuse boarding as long as the physical ILR BRP is presented. Immigration officer also won't deny entry, the most they can do is keep the BRP & advise to apply for British Passport.

Re: UKVI appointment

It should go ahead as UKVCAS call themselves 'essential service'. Perhaps double check with them, there will be some information on their website.

The new online naturalisation form only asks for unique reference number, you don't even have to upload copy of test certificate.

Re: Passport Renewal

The problem is, Pakistani counsalate neither returns the passport nor they issue any letter stating passport has been cancelled. If the Pakistani consulate retains your expired passport, there is no problem because you no longer have a expired uncancelled passport. Thanks, any thoughts about the ot...

Yes. The date of application is what counts, doesn't matter how long it takes to process application.

Re: Grandparents' documents

Just send them your passport or naturalisation certificate if asked and ignore the grand parents' birth certificates. That will have no affect on outcome.
