Do passports need changing?

Hi there,
We've received our first British passports two weeks ago with red cover page. Now, I hear some gossip that these passports need changing with the blue ones due to Brexit. Is this true?

Re: First Passport Application

Hi, I am struggling to find a professional referee. One of the recognized professions for passport referees is the chairman or director of a limited company. I have a friend who is a director of a small (one man) IT limited company. Would that be fine? Can he be our referee for the passport applicat...

Re: First Passport Application

Thanks. One last question.
My kids' foreign passports renewed 3 years ago. For their first British passport applications, do we need to send the previous passports as well to HMPO along with the current ones?

Hi there, A couple of questions for the passport application. 1. After applying online for the whole family (2 adults & 2 children), can we send all the documents that belong to all applicants in the same envelope? 2. You can call or email the HO to ask about their procedures for kids. Most here have experience with corrections on adult certificates and seems to take 2-10 weeks to get corrected certificate back.
Thanks @vaza.
Is there a specific email address or phone number for this HO department?

Re: Approvals received for Parents but not for Kids

Thank you. We have received the approval letters for kids today. However, birth place is wrong on one of them. Is there a way to correct it before the ceremony rather than sending the certificate back to HO after the ceremony?

Re: Approvals received for Parents but not for Kids

Thanks. I guess then we should wait for their letters to arrive before make a booking for the ceremony. Do children take an oath as well at the ceremony?

Approvals received for Parents but not for Kids

Hi,
My partner I received the approval letters but not our kids (8 and 11 years old).
Is this normal? Are MN1 applications for children taking longer to process?

Speed of HO

Hi, it's been almost 4 months for me but still no news yet. Friends and some other people applied long after me successfully received the results. Even in this forum, July/August applicants getting the letters. I've heard that it all depends on the case officer. Some work fast, some work slow. Maybe...

Max stay outside USA with GC

Hi there,
How long can you stay outside USA if you are a Green Card holder?
I thought it was one year but some people claim that it is maximum six months.

Thanks in advance

Re: Documents needed for BC Application

Hi, Can the documents be scanned in colour? Or, does it have to be in 'Greyscale' or 'Black and white' ? If the scanned document less than 6MB, does it matter? Also, Document Type section has the below subsections. I am struggling to find which subsection the above documents should be uploaded to? D...

Application Date for Citizenship after ILR

Hi,
If we have received ILR on the 11/06/2018 and been in the country for more than 5 years, are we eligible to apply for citizenship on the 11/06/2019? Or, should we do it on the 12th?
Thanks

Re: Referee forms

Thank you Zimba. How should we glue them? If we completely glue the photos on the forms then they're not gonna ...

Re: British Citizenship Checklist

Hi CR001,

Do we need seperate AN application form for husband and wife?

And, seperate MN1 form for each child?

Also, how do we present our photos in the citizenship application? Just scan them and upload them along with other supporting documents?

Thanks & regards

Re: Scanning all or stamped passport pages for Citizenship application

True it's not a big job scanning all pages but it goes up to 22 MB. I thought each file we upload should not exceed 3 MB.

did you save it as .pdf format?

Re: Scanning all or stamped passport pages for Citizenship application

isn't UKVCAS appointment about checking and confirming uploaded documents against the actual documents?

A lot of people in this board previously stated that to scan only the stamped pages. Then again, some people says all pages.

hi @CR001, what is your thought on this?
