Re: Does a UK Permanent Resident (ILR) require a visa to travel to Ireland/Dublin for tourism?

"Citizens of the United Kingdom do not require a visa to travel to Ireland as they have Indefinite Leave To Remain."

that's how I interpreted that sentence. I have Indefinite Leave to Remain too.

Re: Can one apply for ILR after 5 years residency even if BRP not expiring yet

Yes, I would have lived in the UK for 5 years at the end of this month. I will get the paperwork ready and apply asap, rather than waiting till May.

Thanks!

How do I go about changing my name officially? I reckon I'd have to do something in both countries so th...

Do I have to send filled and downloaded online application form in the post with docs? Do I need to do biometric again

FLR(M)

Filled application online, paid and downloaded a copy of form. Do I need to just send the reference number or the entire form in the post along with my supporting documents.

Do I have to do biometric enrollment again? I already have a biometric card for 2 years ago.

Thanks!

Re: Spouse Visa Extension FLR(M) - Digital Payslips (income proof)

Digital p60 I'm afraid. But that original hmrc letter details out everything from salary to tax paid so should count as proof as its original from a reliable source.

Thanks again for helping @seagull

Words fail me when describing how grateful I am.

Re: Spouse Visa Extension FLR(M) - Digital Payslips (income proof)

Also, when you say the first 16k wont count, do u mean I need to have 32k in savings? Because the form clearly says any proof of savings over 16k is required. Again, I guess I can't combine say 20k savings with 5 months payslips at a salary of nearly 40k. Thats kinda what I was hoping would suffice ...
