Re: First time passport application

First time adult naturalized citizen.

I also applied for my child and sent documents the same day I applied for my own passport, but my child's application is still processing.

Re: Affidavits for approved applications and next ceremony

Hi everyone, I received my approval and request for declaration letter via post (not received any emails) today. The last letter I received was a second stage letter on November 2019. I think it's a sign of a new batch of approvals and hope that there'll be more people getting their approvals/affid...

Re: Affidavits for approved applications and next ceremony

I can say this could be network delay or issue. When I made the payment I received an email like below: Re: Citizenship Application Number: XXXXX-CITZ-XX, Person ID Number: XXXXXX-XX, as submitted by you. We have received your Citizenship Certificate Fee of € 950 which was submitted online on (DATE...

Re: Special characters in name and surname during naturalisation

Thanks everyone for your replies, much appreciated. I wanted to make sure about this and contacted citizenship office via email, they let me know that the letters need to be English letters and they can't accommodate non-English letters (I'm guessing Irish letters like ó would be allowed as well but...

Re: Citizenship by birth for a child

Alright if the you have lived in Ireland for more than 3 years with Stamp 1/4, and the child is born in Ireland, then the child is automatically Irish. Whether you receive your naturalisation certificate is irrelevant to your child’s Irish citizenship. You can use the online application to apply fo...

Re: Next citizenship ceremonies will be in Spring 2020

Has anyone received any approvals in the last 2 weeks?

Looks like noone is getting approvals and they're only focused on ceremony invitations these two weeks but I wanted to check anyway, to see if there's any possibility to get approval and invitation before the ceremony in March.
