Anyone been able to get an EEA family permit appointment after 29th March?

We are looking to apply in for one in China but there isn't a single appointment after 29th March. I thought that it was still possible to use EEA FPs for a period of time after brexit?

He isn't British. He is Irish. An EEA citizen can't hold an EEA residence card though. I've read it stated somewhere but can't find it now.

The DAT1 took about 3 weeks or so for us too. Don't delay. Ulster Bank does Euro drafts but there is a charge of £25 I think. You can open an account in your nearest branch. You need to submit pictures with your passport application. The ones you send with the application to naturalize and those sent with the approval do not show up anywhere.

The letter says it is a registration time, not the actual ceremony start time. It also says 'including registration the event will take approximately 1 hour 45 minutes'.
