Applying for EEA family permit - no appointments

Anyone been able to get an EEA family permit appointment after 29th March?

We are looking to apply in for one in China but there isn't a single appointment after 29th March. I thought that it was still possible to use EEA FPs for a period of time after brexit?

UK issued EU residence cards don't need to be returned after naturalisation, for British citizenship.

He isn't British. He is Irish. An EEA citizen can't hold an EEA residence card though. I've read it stated somewhere but can't find it now.

Re: Few questions about Irish Citizenship

The DAT1 took about 3 weeks or so for us too. Don't delay. Ulster Bank does Euro drafts but there is a charge of £25 I think. You can open an account in your nearest branch. I'm not sure if Danske has a charge. My partner is just waiting on his passport now. He was at the ceremony in Killarney on 21...

Hi everyone, Please share your experience which additional documents did INIS ask from you after you've submitted your application for naturalisation? Especially in cases based on 5 year residency. Regards, Ayna. They don't always ask for anything. If you cover everything off in your application fo...

None of those.

You need to submit pictures with your passport application. The ones you send with the application to naturalize and those sent with the approval do not show up anywhere.

EEA FP: One way ticket

Has anyone had any experience of entering the UK on a one way ticket using an EEA family permit?

My friends partner is coming to join her Irish citizen partner on a family permit later in the year and they'd like to (ideally) buy a one way ticket from the Philippines.

Re: Can a wife of Irish spouse with UK family permit visit Ireland

She is not visa exempt unless she has a residence card that states: “Residence card of a family member of a Union citizen”. See here: http://www.inis.gov.ie/en/INIS/Pages/Fa ... s+citizens.

An EEA FP is not a residence card.

My friend is scheduled for 14:35. Does that mean you're done and dusted in 30 minutes?
The letter says it is a registration time, not the actual ceremony start time. It also says 'including registration the event will take approximately 1 hour 45 minutes'.

Why not just email them on the address above? They'll tell you.

To those who have received the invite to the ceremony. Is it a RSVP? Do you have to reply to it? I'm scared I'm going to miss it. I won't be home for a week ... It seems to says that you only have to reply/email them if you can't go. The exact wording is: ATTENDING A CITIZENSHIP CEREMONY IS MANDATO...
