Re: What happens if ILR is refused?

Why would her SET(M) application be refused? She would be able to apply for FLR(FP) if ILR is refused. I'm just being paranoid as I read they reject applications on technicalities, but good to know there are other options. I wish we had gone in person but we left it too late and couldn't get an app...

What happens if ILR is refused?

If ILR is refused by the HO, what happens next?

How long do they give you too leave the UK?

In my wife's case, she is applying for ILR and has a British born baby, but the baby doesn't have a passport yet. I mean, she can't leave the UK without taking the baby with her.

Set M ILR Daughter born in the UK

My daughter was born in the UK. Her mother is Japanese and applying for ILR.

Do I have to mention my daughter in the free text box and include her birth certificate?

SET(M) documents

On the settlement M form in the document section it states you need to send photocopies of all documents. You should photocopy each of these documents and provide the copies in addition to the originals. Are they really asking for a copy of everything we send , because we are send ~50 pages (bank st...

Set(m) settlement child born in the UK

My wife is going to apply for settlement in January 2018. We had a baby daughter in November 2017 in the UK, and my daughter has UK birth certificate. I'm not sure how to answer some of the questions in the Set(m) form: My wife is a "single applicant on form SET(M) and no dependants are applying wit...

If your wife fails the Life in the UK test, apply for a FLR(M) extension and then apply for her ILR once she passes.

A2 level English is required for FLR(M)
Oh OK, thanks. Worst case , but at least we can stay together.

Life in the UK problem

My wife needs to pass life in the UK test so we can apply for set m in early January. She's failed once and will resit soon. Thing is, she is due to give birth to our daughter in November. She will sit the test soon, but after that I'm not sure if she will be able to go out until December. It's all ...

Re: ILR Financial Requirements 5 Year Route

I was also wondering about this since the SET(m) doesn't mention anything about £18.6k annual income.

Apparently there is new form out in June '17, as the new rules came into force in June of 2012 , so people are only starting to apply for ILR/settlement under the new rules as of June.

What are the financial requirements for settlement?

The Set(m) form doesn't seem to state a minimum income that the sponsor must have, is there one?

https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... -04-17.pdf

P38 says you have to provide evidence of your finances.

FLR(m) to SET(m)

My wife will be applying for SET(m) in Dec '17. The postal fee is £1875.
What if my wife has a baby in Nov '17, would our baby be a dependent and we would have to pay an
additional dependant fee of £1875? It doesn't sound right as the child would be born in the UK.

She will be applying for ILR in December.

Do you think we have to submit old and new passport when applying?

My wife's passport will expire before the flr m runs out in December. Do we have to inform the home office?

no recourse to public funds and NHS treatment

Seems like my wife who is on an FLR visa might need to have IVF treatment. Her visa states, no recourse to public funds, does that mean she can't get IVF on the NHS?
