Re: Consequences of Early ILR Application

Visa expiry is totally irrelevant. You apply when you are eligible for ILR or about to become eligible for ILR. You may choose to apply earlier and buy some time while waiting by benefiting from the date of decision: How to apply early and benefit from the date of the ILR decision ? Thank you so mu...

Consequences of Early ILR Application

Hi Everyone, What would happen if I apply extra early for ILR? Say 6 or 9 months before leave expiry. I'm on the 5 year refugee residence permit, I had been on the 10 year route before that for 5 years because I have British children and didn't meet the financial requirements for a spouse visa. I ho...

Re: British Citizenship WITHOUT ILR

You are required to have ILR if this question related to yourself who had or has refugee leave to remain. Is this also related to your previous questions about moving to another EU state? There is no shortcut route for those with limited leave to remain. Without posting the link to the source of th...

British Citizenship WITHOUT ILR

Hi All, I hope you are all good. I always wonder if there is anyway a person could apply for naturalisation without indefinite leave to remain. I found today a piece of information from the government website that says, "A person who is outside the UK is, by definition, not subject to any restrictio...

Which test is best? IELTS, Pearson, PSI or LanguageCert

Hi,

Does anyone have experience which test is the best? Like maybe the easiest? :D

I have a relative who wants to take a test abroad and I want to put him to the best test as his English is not great, he needs B1 at least.

Thank you so much in advance for any advice you may offer!

Will residency in EU affect refugee status in the UK

Hi, If someone is recognised as a refugee in the UK receives an EEA family permit in an EU state, will that affect their refugee status? Or their HO travel document? In the 1951 convention travel document, it says, if someone takes up permanent residency in a country which is signatory to the conven...

Hi,
Based on experiences if anyone knows, does the travel document always get delivered by DX? Do they always send a text? When do they send it?
If anyone received their travel document recently, please share the time line.
Thank you!!

Thank you for your reply.

Turkey does not recognise this travel document. Therefore, they do not accept it for a visa.

I forgot to mention, you can also visit Gibraltar with it without a visa

Re: Duration of Stay - Parent is visiting UK (no visa required)

From my own knowledge, it depends on her nationality a little and on the immigration officer a little.

I suggest that you search online for the experiences of people with her nationality visiting the UK and how strict they are with them and what they normally ask them to show.

Re: UK Tourism visits for EU-married non-EU person

I know about the EEA family permit regulation, but this doesn't seem to apply to us. As I understand it, EEA appears to require a demonstrated intention to live in the UK, which I don't. You don't have to be intending to live in the UK to benefit from the EEA free movement right. Even if you are vi...

Re: Travel document

try to apply for a blue passport for all of you first. They will ask for the difference in the fee if they don't accept most probably. I doubt they will refuse it all together and not refund your fee.

D-LTRP.1.2 Which extension form?

Hi,

I applied for a spouse visa on FLR(M) before.

They refused it and granted me 30 months on the 120 month route

Now I have to extend it, do I use FLR (FP)?

On my refusal letter they said we granted you limited leave because of your children under D-LTRP.1.2

Thank you
