Re: Citizenship application based on refugee status

Thanks zoie. If they don't give a decision by the end of 3 months, I am going to JR court straight away. I think that would strengthen my case. By then I would have waited for 3 years. cobh-18....I agree with you i think given them 12 weeks is just delaying your case, if i was you I may would go for...

Re: Judicial Review Letter & Response

Hi cobh_18 I think some people on this forum had similar responses but they never got their citizenship decision within 12 weeks. I applied to JR too, I am awaiting a response from them. IF they come back to with same response I will decline it as I am waiting for 4 years for a decision 12 weeks ti...

Re: Citizenship delays: FOI and an application for an Order for Mandamus via the High Courts

Has anybody went to a solicitor to proceed with a Judicial Review and received the response of waiting for 12 weeks? Share your story below, as it looks like they are giving the same response to everybody these days: https://www.immigrationboards.com/ireland/judicial-review-letter-response-t317768.h...

Judicial Review Letter & Response

I appointed a solicitor to go for JR and below is the response I received from Citizenship Dept. Anybody else had this scenario? What to do here? Your client’s application for naturalisation is being prepared for submission to the minister. I expect that your client’s case will be submitted to the M...

Re: Citizenship application based on refugee status

Anyone with refugees status got a reply this month. Specially Syrians or Libyan. There seems to be a blockage on these 2 nationalities. No one I know (10+ people) got a reply recently some are waiting for 25months. Admin please don’t delete my posts because that’s a true story. I applied in Aug 201...

Re: Anyone still waiting since 2018?

I have been waiting since summer 2018. Last month I sent an FOI request, and waiting for response. Supposedly they would get back to me by March 23rd, 2021.

Does anybody if they are currently processing 2017 and 2018 application? Or they are just focused on the 4000 already approved applications?
