I have a residence card is valid till 2013,but I have been living in the uk for 1.5 years.I just would like to ask when I can apply for indefinete leave to remain after 5 years or 3.5 years?

In fact, my wife is a polish, it is very easy to get a sghen visa fro me from polish consulate.maybe we can go to germany first then poland.although i do not need a visa for germany rght now i do not trust immigration officer in the airport,thats way i wanted to have a visa from polish consulate.

as far as I know,moreover it is indicated by law clearly, once your husband have a ILR ,UNFORTUNATELY you can not do anything as he is not dependent on you anymore.
