Re: Old BCR about to expire

Thanks for the replies So. I have just been granted Settled Status. The official letter states: If you do not currently hold a valid biometric residence card, you should receive your biometric residence card within 10 working days of the date of this letter. A leaflet will accompany the card which w...

Re: Old BCR about to expire

Ok, so the advice is to get a card showing a 'pre-settled' status regardless of whether a 'settled' application is pending in order to travel?

Old BCR about to expire

Hi. Just to enquire about the following: Currently holding pre settled status (expiring in 2025) as a non EU family member. However I have been traveling with my old BRC which shows an expiry date of July 2023 Applied for settlement status in early May (as soon as I became eligible) and received COA...

When did you first arrive in the UK to begin your residency?

Hi everyone :) I currently hold pre-settled status and I am applying for settled status on the basis of being a family member (spouse) to a EEU national holding settled status already. Married since 2018. The application has a question in particular "When did you first arrive in the UK to begin your...

Re: blocked from boarding UK flight despite settled status

This is a known problem . Is there any clarity about this? I thought you could travel with the old residence permit as long as it is up to date? https://www.immigrationboards.com/eea-route-applications/travelling-with-pre-settled-status-t318518.html#p2020083 Look at the dates in which the posts wer...

Travelling with Pre Settled Status

Hi, just a quick one I received my pre settled status last year under the settlement scheme. I still have my EEA Residence Card which expires 2023. Haven't applied for the replacement one yet. I have a trip to Europe this month. Just to confirm on my way back to the UK I can present the old residenc...

Re: Travel before Settlement Scheme Application reply

I have to travel for work, I reckon I would be just showing my BRP as usual when coming back at the beginning of February? First of all, If you have an EU biometric document, what you have is a BRC (C for card), not BRP (P for permit, which is for Tier-based applications, not EU family members). Ye...

Travel before Settlement Scheme Application reply

Hello members Me and my partner recently applied for the settlement scheme. She holds a Permanent Residence Document and I hold a Biometrics permits (EU family member) we married in 2018 so I would be applying for pre-settled status. The app currently only works on Android type phones - not IOS.
Oh, sorry. Didn't know that

I suppose a borrowed phone would be acceptable for the application?

EU Settlement Scheme Questions - smartphones + previous leaves

My spouse (EU citizen) and myself (non-EU Spouse) are thinking about applying for the settlement scheme in its current beta phase. Details: My spouse has a PR document. I have a FM BRP. Marriage was in May last year. Living together and been doing so from before we married Due to traveling I want to...

Re: EU Settlement Scheme

Would the 5-year clock reset once I apply via the settlement scheme or would the time I have so far count towards the 5 year period? No, clocks will not restart. Clocks restart when you change visa categories. Here you are applying to certify the time you've spent under EU rules for the purpose of ...

EU Settlement Scheme

Hi I currently have a EU FM residence biometric card (Switched from tier 2 last year) and my partner (wife - EU citizen) has a Permanent residence document. I understand that if we apply individually via the settlement scheme (currently in test mode) she would get permanent residence and I would get...

Travelling back as a EEA (FM) - which entrance?

Hi to all the members of the forum I recently changed my status to EEA (FM) - Non EEA national with EEA Spouse - . I will have my first trip abroad soon. I might be wrong, but I believe read somewhere in the forums about non-EEA nationals travelling back to the UK with their EEA partne and getting i...

Re: Reporting to UKVI after TUPE transfer

The previous company doesn't exist anymore due to the merger. The AO is the same person though. It seems weird that the new company has to report using the old company's SMS (?) So, given that transferred migrants are not appearing on the new company's SMS, should reports go to Tier2and5MigrantRepor...

Reporting to UKVI after TUPE transfer

Dear experts. Last year UKVI confirmed that I was effectively transferred from one company to another after a merger. Since my details are not in the SMS I just want to confirm that using the email Tier2and5MigrantReportingMailbox@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk is the right way for my sponsor company to repo...

Re: Held at airport due to previous refusal

I hand the same problem I showed my Brp card and passport when I came back from my back home country they checked the system then asked questions to my husband when back to check the system everything was fine. Ok. So. Was it because of a previous refusal? and if so, did it happen numerous times or...

Held at airport due to previous refusal

Hi experts! I came back from holiday recently and while entering the UK the immigration officer was looking at my passports and BRP. He looked in the system and found that I had a refusal a couple of years ago. He said that he needed to do further examinations according to the system and took me to ...
