Student finance

I applied for student finance and sent them my BRP for verification. After a week they returned my BRP and asked me to provide evidence of lawful stay in the UK for past three years. I and my wife got my visa after my stateless son got the British citizenship last year and before that for two years ...

is homeoffice shut?

Hi, I have applied to get NRPF removed from my visa and been waiting for months, but haven't heard anything from them so far. My situation is getting worse day by day. My son is a british citizen (due to 5 year stateless route). Is the home office shut due to the virus and opening any soon? Is there...

Thank you. Can anybody request access to public funds from home office or is there any requirements to be qualified to apply?

Many thanks for your explanation. So there's nothing they can do for us in this hard period I guess.

Re: Child and working tax credit on parent route

Thank you for taking time to answer my question. After reading the section of public funds on letter I received with my BRP, someone said I'm eligible to some sort of payments from the government but did not know exactly what they are. Could you please check the below attached photo of that section ...

Child and working tax credit on parent route

Can parents on parent route due to ex-stateless British children apply for child tax credit or working tax credit? On BRP it says no access to public funds though. Thank you.

Brexit and public funds

I heard from my friend that Home Office is going to give access to public funds to parents on 10 year parent route due to a british child on visa renewals after Brexit. Is that a true or any special changes to that visa category after Brexit? Thank you.

Re: Child care costs

Thank you Amber. Will requesting access to public funds from home office create issues on our future visa renewals or when applying for ILR? When we request access to public funds from home office, what do they look for and do they accept it most of the time?

Re: Child care costs

Hi Amber, Thank you for your reply. Yes my son is British and I & my wife are on 10 year parent route. On kids holidays we can't even survive with these high child care costs and we are continuously getting on debt. I checked that link and created an account. When I run the eligibility checker, it a...

Child care costs

Hi,
Is there any way to claim child care costs back when parents are on 10 year parent route with no access to public funds? When both parents are working and paying tax, can't we request to access just child care cost support by writing to home office through a solicitor? Thank you.

Re: 10 to 5 year parent route

Many thanks cr001. Any special requirements to apply for that, such as anual earnings or tax payments? Will they provide us reduced child care costs while we are at work in 5 year parent route? (Like child care cost claim back)

Registering a limited company

Hello,
Does registering a limited company and becoming it's director cause issues when renewing 10 year parent route 2.5 year visas? One of my friends said his skilled visa renewal application got refused due to an issue with his limited company'e tax payment error. Is that possible? Thank you.

Re: FLR FP same day service

Re: FLR FP same day service

Thank you all for your advices. We got our visa from super priority service even though we've been over stayers and didn't have valid passports either. Just wanted mention that here if that information is worth for someone to go ahead with their one day service applications.

Does that mean we can still use the same day service? And if they hold it, will the decision still be quicker than the postal application? Many thanks.
