Re: PR Application EU Citizen - Timing of Application

Yes, I am a EU citizen.

I contacted the Health Insurance Provider, and they told me that they can't Issue any kind of retrospective proof. HR could issue a letter, but it would be of little use as it does not contain any relevant Infos on what it covered etc.

Regards,
Daniel

PR Application EU Citizen - Timing of Application

Hello Everyone, just wanted to quickly pick your brains on my situation. I moved with my (non-EU) wife to Northern Ireland in June 2007, and have been living here ever since. I applied for a Residence documentation for a EU national in 2007 as a self sufficient person , and it was issued in Sept. 20...

Hello Together, We are just finishing of my wife's Naturalization Application, and as we unfortunately don't have the NCS Service here in Northern Ireland I wanted to check if the below is complete/correct, or if we are missing anything. - Wife came to UK as spouse of EU Citizen in June 2007 - Wife ...

Ours is dealt with by NWEURO8, and one month overdue (i.e. seven months old).

I just sent a formal complaint to the Customer Complains Department, Rob Whiteman, and put my local MP on cc. Lets see if I can get some traction on it now.

I don't think anybody really would mind the relatively small fee, IF it is used to bring down the processing time to some slightly more acceptable levels, in line with other EEA countries (6-8 weeks, I would say). I would have paid £500 if it would have meant it will be processed in less then 4 weeks.

Yes, very few success stories lately.

Ours is now 5 months and 17 days old, and "SHOULD" come any day now. We are just busy with moving house, so don't really need it. But would be nice to get now to get over with all the uncertainty.

Has been very quiet in terms of EEA4 approvals lately. But reading Marco's timeline I am hoping the wait will be over soon for us. We applied at the beginning of Sept. received COA very quickly, got EEA passport returned quickly. But that's where it ended for us. We requested non EEA passport back v...

Can't we keep this thread free of all the off topic discussions, and just keep it about EEA4 timelines.

That's the only reason I look into it, and I am not interested in any other non timeline related discussions. And I am sure I am not the only one feeling like that.

Yes, you can ask for it's return without problems.

I just requested mine by Email, and it was returned in less then a week (requested back on 26th, and received today).

She will of course have her passport, but the UK RC in it will be expired by then. So there is no proof in her passport that she is still "legal" in the UK. Based on that they would usually refuse a Visa. The only proof of her being legal we will be able to provide is the COA from the UKBA. I know w...

They don't check at the Airport, but don't try to get into the Republic by Bus (and possible train). These days the Irish Police (garda) is stopping busses every day between NI and Ireland just after the border to check for people without Visas. they also very regularly check the Train running betwe...
