Re: Health Insurance Cover in UK for Indian Parents

Thank you. The price comparisons websites are for the UK residents and not for the UK visitors. Also, the NHS website states - there is no COVID exempt for any visitor to Englad. https://www.nhs.uk/using-the-nhs/nhs-services/visiting-or-moving-to-england/visitors-who-do-not-need-pay-for-nhs-treatment/

Health Insurance Cover in UK for Indian Parents

Hi

My parents going to visit UK. They are Indian citizens. Any advice on best medical insurance? I had bad insurance with ICICI Lombard and AXA Bharati in past.

Is it possible to buy the insurance from a UK company?

Thank you

Re: FLR (M) bank statement question AGAIN :)

Very useful checklist. Thank you.

Is there a requirement for the wife to be working and earning? My Partner is the homemaker and I work full-time. How much salary do I need to show?

Thanks,

Please can you answer?

Two scenarios:
1. Parents coming within 6 months
2. Parents coming back in 7th month (just after 6 months)?

Thank you. I have gone thru below from what you shared. But I can't find anything about 180 days rule. Sorry, please can point it if I have missed it. Appreciate your help.

Re: Spouse Visa Outside UK Rule for ILR

Thank you Vinny.

Sorry, I'm not clear on whether the 180 days outside ILR rule applicable to spouse as well? I understand there is 270 day rule for British citizenship along with last year 90 day rule.

Please can you confirm if the 180 day ILR rule applies to spouse as well?

Sincere apologies. That is right, I will wait for someone to help. Thank you. Sometimes, it's hard to think straight, whilst I can only think about this extension and stressful documentation.

Re: Need Help on Spouse Extension

Thank you Casa. If I include only last 6 months then my income WILL NOT be £18,600 . I thought I can show annual (last 12 months) earnings of £18,600. Is this not right? I read it from FLR(M) document and it states on page 26: "an income before tax of at least £18,600 a year" https://www.gov.uk/gove...

Re: *** OCI for New Born Baby ***

Thank you both.

I'm struggling to take a picture with eyes open. It says on the VFS site that babies under 1 year are OK to close their eyes. Anyone done this before?

Also, how can I take finger print of 6 weeks baby?

What is the general time lines of processing infant OCI?
