Re: Travel after ILR decision but before BRP collected

Yeah, I am a similar "what if" person, which is why I was trying to check options :)

The problem is that we have to travel soon, will wait till Monday and take the call.

Re: Travel after ILR decision but before BRP collected

Sure, courier was just a thought, but yes can get some one to bring it with them too. But would there be any complications while going out of UK?

Hi, We are in a bit of a situation and could use some advice. My wife had applied for her ILR on super-priority service and submitted biometrics on Oct 26th hoping to get the decision soon as we had to travel to India in a short space of time. Unfortunately the decision got delayed and we eventually...

NARIC and Degree Certificate for ILR

Hi all, I have a question regarding the English and degree qualification documentation for ILR. I was asked by my immigration adviser for the degree verification certificate from NARIC/Ecctis as my education was outside UK. My question is, should I get one? Because I've been granted my tier 2 visa w...

Enhanced maternity pay impact on ILR application

Hi, My wife is in her maternity leave and her company is paying her full salary during maternity. My understanding is that there is a rule for the company to give her a minimum pay (SMP) but there is no restriction for the company if they want to give her full pay and is called Enhanced maternity pa...

Re: Lost/Stolen BRP and Indian Passport

Hi Bhadresh, As far as i know, the visa sticker on passport is only to come to UK and collect BRP. It would be helpful if you could let me know how did you proceed here as I am in a similar situation. I had sent my passport and BRP to DVLA. And now Royal mail and DVLA both say that they are not sure...

Hi, There was a HO visit to my sponsor's company few months back. Now they have sent a letter informing about few discrepancies and the company sponsor licence has been suspended. Due to family medical reasons I had to travel to India for a couple of weeks and had booked the tickets also. Will there...

Visa fees refund

Hi, I had got a CoS from my employer for upto 5 years. But since I did not have plans to stay for that long, I thought of applying for a Tier 2 General visa upto 3 years( as the fees was double for more than 3 years). So, I decided to fill up the form for myself and my wife and submitted the same co...

Re: Maintenance using multiple bank accounts

Hi gajang, Thanks for your reply. I checked the add or amend sponsor notes section from a gov uk document. Can you give me more details about this sponsor note. As I understand, after the CoS is assigned to me, my sponsor can add notes before I use the CoS in my visa application correct? So my spons...

Maintenance using multiple bank accounts

Hi, I am in UK on a Tier 2 ICT dependant visa and I am moving to a Tier 2 General (Restricted CoS) visa. My sponsor has unknowingly unchecked the maintenance by sponsor option while applying for my CoS. Now I need to show a minimum balance for me and my wife. Neither my UK account nor my Indian bank...

Re: Urgent - stay after visa expiry

Hi Frontier Mole/manci, My wife decided to quit the job as she was asked to travel back, because we wanted to continue to stay here for a longer time. Today was her last working day here and her HR has told her that she needs to travel back within 10 days. I want to know if it is as per UKBA rules o...

Re: Urgent - stay after visa expiry

Thanks a lot for your reply manci. I just got the news from my HR that the HO has rejected the CoS application as the job was not sufficiently advertised when I was recruited. I think my company will now have to advertise the job again and apply for a restricted CoS after the 28 day period. My wife ...

Re: Need guidance: Tier 2 ICT dependant --> Tier 2 General

Hi, My employer has applied for my CoS, I have a couple of questions. Are there any chances of it getting rejected? How long does it usually take for me to get the CoS? I want to apply for my visa as soon as i get my CoS. My wife is still working for her employer with the CoS assigned to her. What h...

Re: Need guidance: Tier 2 ICT dependant --> Tier 2 General

Hi, I did figure out the process where in my company has to provide me a CoS and I will have to go back and re-apply for entry clearance. Hope my understanding is correct. But I still have one question, I have joined my company very recently less than 2 months back, do they still need to do a new Re...
