I have to say I think there are enough forums on this subject, and a presumably for-profit pseudo-"blog" does not add anything useful. I read posts on 3 sites to keep up with the ongoing sagas of UK immigtration, and will not add a 4th for no reason. Government immigration policy in its arbitrarine...

You omit to mention that the UK have plans to end the Common Travel Area and to stick immgration on the border. FAO All Overstayers planning to leave the UK

As we all know, there are random checks in the airport now at exit control and it seems to worry a lot of overstayers who plan to leave the country willingly. As tax avoidance is legal and tax evasion is not, I hope I am not breaking any rules to suggest this method of avoidance of the random checks...

The solicitor is right. Even though you had a Bachelors or Masters from a UK uni, you are already studying for your PhD, which means more than 12 months have passed since your Bachelors or Masters. In order to be eligible for IGS (International Graduate Scheme) you need to have just graduated (12 mo...

I think what confused OP is there is the terminology used. You cannot swictch from student to WP unless there is a job offer and the employer applies for a WP for you. Once the WP is approved, you can apply for leave to remain under FLR (IED) form. What the other poster is say is IGS (international ...

The Life in the UK test will probably have no bearing on it as many people with passes in the test have been refused due to the gaps. There is always a chance that the caseworker will use discretion though. thanks.....what supporting evidences would make case worker using discretion....my employer ...

Quick question regarding naturalization

Hi ya all, I would appreciate your help and expertise. I am an ILR holder for ages and seeing the recent development with naturalisation rules, I plan to apply for naturalisation as soon as possible. My wife has a spouse visa, which she will meet the requirements for ILR via SET (M) in June 2008. Sh...
