After Approval

Hi all,

Can someone please advise me of what happens to your IRP card once we receive approval for payment of €950. Do we have to hand our IRP card back or can we still keep it for travelling until a passport is issued??

Cheers :)

Renew passport while pending citizenship application

Hi guys,

So my home country passport is due to expire soon and I will be renewing it in the next few months. Am I to send the new passport to citizenship right away or notify them that it's been renewed?

Cheers

Re: Fiscal Years

Hey thanks for that! No thats all sorted but just the one bit of W2 is something the commissioner of oaths couldnt figure out himself. As far I am aware its asking which mortuary authorizes them to become a commissioner of oaths and its meant to say Chief of Justice but i am not 100% either. We have...

Re: Fiscal Years

Thank you! Would you know when I ask my commissioner of oaths to fill in the declaration, what goes into W2? Would it be his signature.. Name or a stamp at the bottom?

Never got refusal letter

Hi, I just got my FOI and Apparenlty my application was rejected back in Nov 2020 because I used the landing date as starting to count reckonable residency. I am so confused because I have an email from them say I was allowed to do so. But also I never received that letter which is included in the F...

FOI for citizenship application

Hello,

Can someone please advice on the process of requesting FOI from the justice department. Can we email the request or does it have to be a postage in writing?
Do i just request my info or do I need to give an explanation.
Also, who do I address this to? Thanks a lot 😊

Re: Spouse of Irish Citizen - Stamp 4 Renewal

Hi, I just renewed mine recently. I am married to an Irish Citizen. Same process, you book an appointment, bring you twos passports and original marriage cert. All they asked was if I changed address, advised no (did not ask for proof even though I had it with me). They then sent you a Residence Per...

In case anyone is still wondering, according to team 2, you can use your landing staml as you start time to count for residency.

Re: Landing stamp and stamp 4

Thank you :)

I had visa Type D to join Spouse and was given 90 days to apply GNIB card.
Its just confusing because when I put that in the calculator it accepts the Type D visa date as reckonable as well.

Landing stamp and stamp 4

Hi Guys,

I am due to apply for my citizenship application as per stamp 4.

Can I check if the reckonable residency start on the day I landed in Ireland with a landing stamp for 90 days or the day my GNIB card was issued?

Thank you :)
