Hang on you've been away for 350 days in the last 365 days. i.e you have been in the UK for 15 days in the last 365 days..methinks that will qualify as 'simply too big to disregard' in many a situation regardless of endeavour.

not trying to be rude but i think your last idea suggests you fancy your chances at circumventing the rules with false claims. If this is your plan then good luck, you'll need it.

that was my thinking as well. its only slightly complicated because i got ILR via economic route and going for citizenship in this manner is via family route (marriage). I dont mind waiting until next march to get the naturalisation done, if i have to. As long as i dont throw away my money by giving...

Hi Guys,

Please advice if you can.

I got my ILR on the 6th of March based on 2 yrs HSMP + 3 yrs Tier 1 Gen.

I am getting married on the 8th of September to a British Citizen.

Will I be able to apply for naturalisation anytime after the 8th of September?

Thanks guys

until june 2013 you will not be eligible for ILR under the long residnece route (regardless of you being educated all through your childhood by the state). Harsh but true. The way forward: My advice will be same as John has given above. Your parents MUST do all they can to get further extension unti...

PEO is the way to go. The ~£350 difference in price in not worth the uncertainty you have to deal with while waiting for 8-12weeks for a verdict. My advice to you get it all done and dusted in one afternoon at the PEO. Read through the forum (particularly at cases similar to yours) in order to be as...
