Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Process

Hi guys, is it any phone number we can call homeoffice to ask for update instead emails? See here for contact details: https://www.gov.uk/contact-ukvi-inside-outside-uk Note that the call centre is an outsourced operation with the staff not having direct access to case files or case workers. I beli...

Re: Mistake on the online application form

I made the same mistake, and , several others, including my title and whether I have worked in the last ten years. I panicked and sent the HO several emails and letters , and lastly had asked an immigration adviser to send a summary for all the corrections. All the emails and letters were put on ho...

Second class letter by post, A5 brown envelope.
Interesting to know this :) But would it be also a refusal to be sent in that kind of envelope? :) Just curious!

Re: Citizenship Application Queries

Senior members should advise better. I just thought all FPNs must be declared as per the Guide booklet. But if you were offered awareness course and no FPN then you should be fine.

Re: British Citizenship Application

4. After you apply and submit your application, do you need to update the Home Office if you change/quit your job? I think you may need to inform the HO for any changes on your circumstances while your application is being processed There is NO requirement to update HO. It is not an immigration app...

Re: Few questions about application!

Hi aman, Yes, it is littering the cigarette butt. I got caught at the scene by the officer and he said it was in his camera so I just accepted it because I did. The FPN says it is from the Council and I have paid already online. The officer also told me there would be no action if I pay in time, and...

Re: Few questions about application!

Hello, I submitted and took biometric more than a week ago but unfortunately today I received a FPN from the Council for lettering. The FPN says it offers the opportunity to discharge any liability to conviction if paid (£75) in time (which I will pay soon). I also talked with the officer and he sai...

Re: jobs listed on landing card while unemployed - deception?

Following what aman suggested above regarding deception, I think it's better not mention it as it may cause doubt unnecessarily.

Re: jobs listed on landing card while unemployed - deception?

Reading this thread, I think the OP wants to listen to advice regarding two scenarios: 1. To mention the unpaid/voluntary jobs: what would be the consequences? e.g. I would imagine the HO/HMRC look suspicious and investigate further if and why tax/NI was not paid especially when the OP was not emplo...

Re: Few questions about application!

Thank you aman90 for previous reply. Now I am having some issues with registration for a child: - I don't see any question asking for the child's passport details - but it does say should provide a passport if the child has in the checklist.; there is also no section asking for trips outside the UK ...

Re: Few questions about application!

Thank you aman90 for the reply- it is very clear. Another question that I am confused a bit is about the first day entering the UK. I came to the UK first time nearly 20 years ago on student visa but then left the country for few years and came back 6 years ago on Tier 2 G. On ILR application, I ent...

Re: Few questions about application!

Hello,

I have a question about when the referee form can be printed out. Can it be printed out for signature before the application be submitted and paid? My concern is one of my referees has a travel plan after the day I am eligible.

Many thanks!

Congratulations Naresh! So, in your case, it basically takes only 16 days from biometrics appointment to ceremony letter? It seems the fastest case I have seen in this forum.

Re: Few questions about application!

Thank you alterhase58! I have checked my payslip and my P60 then I find that while the "Tax code" on payslip is consistent, the "final tax code" on P60 is different from that and also different for different years. Which one should I look for pls? I also see that on the P60, there is "Employer PAYE...

Re: Few questions about application!

Hello,

I have not started the online application yet but looking at the paper version under "Details of your employment" section, can anyone let me know if the question on Tax reference number is for me (the applicant) or for my employer?

Regards.

Thank you CR001. Might be a silly question but just arisen in my mind: does it include also visitor visas (6 month each) I made during my 7 year gap?
I meant the visas were for 6 months but I actually visited only few days each time.

Re: Few questions about application!

Hi Aman, Thank you for your reply. I am intending to ask a teacher at my children' primary school who knows well about my children to help.
