Re: Apply Provisional License on Spouse Visa

Hi, Thanks San!! I have actually applied for her driving licence in the meantime and i did it online and received DVLA's letter today, to send proof of ID and a photo. But what I wanted to ask you was, do I need to send a pre-stamped envelope to have the BRP card sent back to me? Or do they send it ...

Re: Apply Provisional License on Spouse Visa

Does this mean I have to wait 180 days till she can apply for her provisional license?

That’s frustrating... 😏

Apply Provisional License on Spouse Visa

Hi, My wife entered UK last week on her spouse visa. Can I apply for her provisional driving license? Because on the form it states something about the invidual being a resident in UK for 180 days? But with her having the 2.5 years spouse visa, am I still good to apply this for her now even though s...

Re: Spouse Visa - How many days out of UK are you allowed?

Long absences will affect her ability to apply for citizenship as there are limitations on how many days absence you can have.
Thanks. This is what I need to know... the 'limitations on how many days absence she can have' - what is that number of days and how do I find out? :)

Thank you.

Re: Spouse Visa - How many days out of UK are you allowed?

Thanks guys. Maybe he did confuse it with British Citizenship. So within the 2.5 year spouse visa my wife has currently got.. can she actually spend most of that out of UK & it won’t make a difference when I extend that at the end of the first term and eventually apply for British Citizenship after ...

Spouse Visa - How many days out of UK are you allowed?

Hi, Now that my wife has been granted her spouse visa... can anyone please let me know where I can find out how much time she is allowed to spend out of UK within a year (or within her first 2.5 years whilst in UK). I'm only asking, because if i want to go on holidays with her, how much entitlement ...

Re: First Attempt for Spouse Visa

Thanks...

My wife is in Pakistan and on that website... Pakistan isn’t even there for an option to select! Yours was Turkey right?! So I’m guessing Turkey was there as an option!

I hope they’ve given her the visa ... it’s just waiting for the confirmation...

Thanks for your help :)

Re: First Attempt for Spouse Visa

Hey, This is what confuses me, how did you escalate your case before it's even been '30 working days' because in the automated email they mentioned the following: "We regret that we are unable to respond to enquiries asking about the status of any application" - So we can escalate before 30 working ...
