Utter dribble and copy/paste answer.

You would think that a minister for Justice would actually have some say on this matter.

Very low work rates, I also think it's laughable for them to blame Brexit on a so-called backlog.

You could argue figures have risen in UK applications but they are still lower than other nationalities applications.

The system is farcical IMHO.

Re: September Citizenship Ceremony 2019

Just got through to the helpline.

It's very possible that Septembers ceremony is still going ahead :o

At this stage it's very hard to believe anything they say.

Mine is still awaiting signoff from the minister either way.

Re: September Citizenship Ceremony 2019

All you are doing is delaying people getting through to INIS that are looking for a genuine update on their application. You will not get genuine update by phone. I am calling from last 1 year. Every week I get different story. I think currently they are not doing any work and just waiting for the ...

Re: September Citizenship Ceremony 2019

Will be interesting to see when people start receiving invites. I got 2nd stage letter in June and managed to speak to the department end of June and they said there is "Good Chance" I'll be in the next intake. :|

Similar to yourself, UK passport holder living in Irl 18 years, applied end of October and sent in more info end of November, the passport was returned quick enough but heard nothing back other than generic responses to emails.
