Re: Travelling After Citizenship Ceremony

I am entitled to apply for an electronic visa waiver on my second passport. Should I apply for that instead of keeping my ILR?

Re: Travelling After Citizenship Ceremony

Cancelling my travels is not an option for me. I need a solution other than cancelling my travel.

Hello,

I recently attended the citizenship ceremony not knowing that I will loose my ILR immediately. I need to urgently travel to a conference. What should I do?

Thanks

Hello, My brother has recently been diagnosed with a life long mental illness. Although he lives with my parents in my home country, the proper treatment for this kind of illness is not available in my home country. Expedite Set(LR) application

Hello,

I'm applying for ILR on the basis of long residence in 2 weeks.

I understand that it takes up to 6 months to process the application.

Is there any way I could get them to expedite the process?

Thanks

Re: Travel History for ILR

Hi,

I ticked on 'everything held by UKBA'

As for nationality, I am from Dubai.

Let me know what the outcome of your SAR is :)

Travel History for ILR

Hello,

I was wondering, does the UKBA have your travel history for your ILR (long residence) application?

If so, why did I only get a few landing cards when submitting a SAR?

Do they just have your entry into the UK date or entry and exit?

Thanks

ILR (Long Residence) lost passport

Hello, I should be applying for ILR (long residence) in a few months but unfortunately I lost my passport in 2011. Therefore I do not have my travel history. I submitted a SAR and only obtained three landing cards. Therefore in order to figure it my travel history I went through: Any retained flight...

Certified Copy of Passport (ILR, Long Residence)

Hello,

I will hopefully be applying for ILR in August on the basis of 10 years long residence.

I was wondering if I could submit a certified copy of my passport/biometric permit instead of the originals?

Thanks

Compelling Reason for SET (LR)

Hello All, I was wondering if you could help me out in clarifying as to whether my absence should count as a compelling reason for SET (LR). My Grand Aunt (Grandmother's Sister) has been critically ill (she couldn't feed herself). She has no children, no brothers/sisters and her husband has passed a...

Good Luck with that and tell me how it goes!

Do you have good reasons for being absent more than 540 days?

Thanks for all your advice.

However, whats the best way to prove my in and out of the UK dates?

Landing cards should provide me with the dates into the UK. But what about out dates?

I've heard that the UKBA tend to send you some of the landing cards and not all! Does anyone know if that's true from personal experience?

Applying for ILR Set (LR) but lost my passport

Hello Everyone, I have been in the UK for 9 years now. I first entered the country in August 2004. I spent 6 years on a student visa, 2 years on a psw visa and 1 year on a Tier 1 general visa. This means I should be eligible next year to apply for ILR. However, in 2011 my passport was stolen while I...
