Green card and higher education

I am a green Card holder and has stamp 1. I would like to do masters degree in Ireland as part time.
What should I do if I want to do a course in Ireland? Do I have to leave my job and apply for a student visa or can I join for the course while I work?

Thanks in advance.

New immigration bill and public fund.

Hi,

In the new immigration bill, it is stated that you should not recourse to public funds to eligible for the LTR. Is there any clarification for this?
Does public fund includes child benefit and tax credits?

Thanks

This was told by my friend in Dublin that non-EEU spouses require IELTS to get spouse/dependent work permit from Jan 2008 onwards; but I couldn't find any info from any official website regarding this.
