I was in the same situation as you, my current title is not the same as it is in my WP letter and my salary has also increased. Nonetheless, I got my ILR yesterday and the case worker does not seem to care about it. So IMHO, I dont think you need to worry. Cheers, Hello, I/company did not inform HO ...
hmm i did not ask for that clarification but I did not have any unpaid leave throughout 5 year and my employer certify that in the letter. NTD hi johnnyng, many congratulations for your success :) I am due to apply mine in March. Just one question, when you say 'unpaid leave', did you just mean to s...
Hi all, My situation was discussed in this thread http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=48806&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0. As you can see I was away for 231 days in total and 197 days when travel days are excluded. Of which, only 12 days are business related. I went to Croydon today ...
Hi all, I have a Tier 1 appointment for me and 2 dependants tomorrow @Croydon. Is there any dress code or any thing about appearance that I should prepare? I.e. should I wear a suit or wear daily clothes? Another questions is that how should I present the forms. They are 73 pages and 50 pages and qu...
it was discussed here before - any paid leave is not counted towards 180 days absence so if you have say 25 calendar day off from your employer then take them off the total number. all dates need to be listed in the form but marked accordingly. I highly doubt it. Even if the days out are on paid le...
what do you mean by signed & stamped when the statements are printed on a bank official paper? i though if we can get bank official statements, they will be accepted without?
Hi all, I am trying to apply for a Tier 1 visa within UK and I have a few questions that I would be very grateful if you can help me. 1. I had a master with Southampton University but I graduated in 2005. Can I still be able to claim point using my degree? 2. Do I need to get a headed letter from So...
Hi all, Do you know what will happen if my ILR application (5 year work permit) get rejected for large absences reason. I was out of the country for 230 days over the last 5 years. If I can exclude the business trips, outgoing, incoming days and public holidays the number come down to 185 days. The ...
Hi, Congratulation on obtaining ILR. When you count the days you were absent, did you count the day in and day out as well? Thanks, Went to the PEO in Croydon today for my ILR application. All went well. Got my ILR stamp in my passport after 2.5 hours! No problems with me being out of the country fo...
Hi Thanks for your response. As per my estimation above I thought that less than 200 days will be a reasonable number of private absences. Did the immigration lawyers you consulted give any number at all? My private absences will be close to 190 unless I cancel my 17 days of holidays planned in Feb...
Hi 007, Out of your 228 days absence, how many days were your private holidays (excluding work)? cheers, No, the paid holidays and travel dates are not included. I recently applied for my ILR, with 228 days absence outside UK (including paid holiday in summer + easter) during the last 4 years, and g...
I have consulted with a few immigration lawyers and they all stated that since my number of days outside UK (minutes business trips) is quite high (220 days), they cannot guarantee that I will have ILR. Some of them suggested that I should apply for Tier 1 and then apply ILR at a later date when the...
Regarding the dates - doesn't the application form to say to put down the date of departure and date of return? So that is what you should put down - don't chop a day off either side or you risk upsetting them. It would be worth supplying proof I think of the different reasons you were absent. yes ...
If it is 5 years to the date of my application, I am out of the country for 183 days but all of which are either business trips or annual paid leave. None of them are more than 90 days each. Will this invalidate my application? as you know i also have questions wrt. my absences as well. did you exc...
I'll be very interested in how you go, my absences add up to nearly the same number. So you are not going to do it by post? From what I gather if you have more than a certain number of absences they'll turn it into a postal application at the PEO. I am still trying to get appointment but not much s...
Congratulation mate I got my ILR last week in Cryodon PEO office. Thanks a trillion for all your data points and Good luck to you all who are appearing for ILR premium appointment. Cheers! Hi, I am on a continuous Work-permit and completeing 5 years in UK very soon. But I was out of UK for 4months i...
I am 2nd sojan's post. I tried to phone HO on 08706067766 but they told me the maximum allowance days is 180 days over 5 years. Also the day going in and out of UK does count toward that as well which in my case come to 231 days in total.
