Well..easier said than done...it takes many documents and very long time to do all that, not to mention that taking a photo of a baby who breath through the tube and in intensive care unit is not going to be easy... There must be a provision for such exceptional circumstances...maybe transfer of the...

Looking at your first post on http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?p=464642&highlight=#464642 one can only guess that it is related to your taxes. Wait and see what els...

Also, the main issue I have with this. Even if the child is allowed to stay, will it be granted British citizenship??? This is necessary as it gives the child an identity. Without it the child wouldn't be eligible for a birth certificate, wouldn't be allowed to attend school etc. Would in your opin...

It doesn’t matter – partners are not blood related and can’t sign as well as parents, for example.

I mean, in this forum alone, the percentage of those whose applications is yet to be picked up is very near 100% This means, however busy they might be, at least they should be able to f...

Agree, the question is not clear. The simple rule is what it says in the guidance and should be followed by default. I do not think there are any exceptions to it: For example if your application is received on 20 /1/2010 you should have been physically present in the United Kingdom on 21 /1/2007.

Because you were present on the 2nd. Yes, as exactly because of THAT if application reaches HO on the 8th (ie next day after NCS accepts if) then whether or not person was in the UK on the 7th is irrelevant – he/she should be in the UK on the 9th! Sure it’s safer to wit extra day or two but the...

The guide says For example if your application is received on 20/1/2010 you should have been physically present in the United Kingdom on 21/1/2007. BUT You must have been physically present in England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands on the day 3 years befor...
