Thanks Amber, Casa, CR001, Vinny et al

I know this has been said before, but i'll say it again: A massive THANK YOU to all the mods for all of the advice and guidance they provide on these boards, and the boards themselves. My wife has just received ILR (phew!), and i did all the evidence gathering, paperwork, application etc for her. It...

FLR(M) renewal - couple of quick Q's

Hi all (awesome site, by the way). My wife is about to renew her FLR(M) spouse visa for another 2.5 years (as part of the 5 year route). I just wanted to know: 1) We've mentioned on the form that she is employed, and will be including her payslips & p60 to show this. But do we need to get a letter f...

FLR(M)/Spouse Visa approved - now what?

Hi all, My wife recently had her application for a spouse visa via the form FLR(M) approved. :D The letter we received said that in two and a half year's time she would have to re-apply and then in five years she could apply for indefinite leave to remain. So my question (getting in early!) is do we...

Re: FLR(M) waiting times 2011-2014

My wife applied for a spouse visa (she had come to the UK on a student visa, then got a work visa). Its has taken eight weeks in total between sending off our FLR(M) form plus evidence, to getting back the documents we sent as well as the biometrics permit itself. Hope that helps.

FLR(M) - What evidence to show suitability requirement?

Hi all, What evidence can be used to show someone meets the suitability requirement when preparing to fill out the FLR(M) form? I know the details are listed here: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas-immigration/partners-families/citizens-settled/spouse-cp/can-you-apply/suitability/ But, assumin...

Taking T1 PSW fiancee on honeymoon after wedding

Hi all, I have a quick query that I am hoping you can provide advice on. I am a British citizen and am engaged to someone that is here on a "t1 hs post study leave to remain" visa. We are getting married this July 2013 and her visa lasts until August 2014. Once we're married, we would like to go on ...
