Most of the April applications applied till 3rd Week, were cleared within 6 weeks.

After that nothing progressed.

without knowing when you will attend the ceremony, it will be difficult to comment. usually within 90 days of ceremony it will be fine with a combination of British and Indian Passport.

Applied on June - 16th ( Appln reached Peterborough ) Today I received the 1st SMS saying that it has been reached the passport office :oops: I have been calling the call center everyday like clock work with every time promising they will send an e-mail, Travel booked for 1st Week of August...escala...

After calling every day continuously, received a call.... only from the call center again :oops: stating that need to wait for minimum 6 weeks before escalating. It lasts for 10 mins, same as Check and Send in Post office, but it will happen in the HMPO, no other difference

It lasts 10 minutes, over the counter, Yes, the passports were delivered one day short of a week.

Based on the movements from April and May applications, I think, they have introduced a 'deliberate delay / variable speed limit' to minimise the passport backlogs?

I applied for my daughters 1st passport through Fast track - 1 week Service on 10th, checked today through call center, was told still under examination....very worried, even Fast track applications are not dealt within in time?
