If they need a signature hopefully they will leave me a card and I can call to arrange a specific date

So they will not require signature from me, since I live in a flat? Just concerned that it's a bit tricky for me to arrange to be home esp not knowing which date exactly it would be arriving

Just wondering about receiving passport once ceremony is done. Is this sent through 1st/2nd class mail or does it need to be signed for? Also - BRP must be cut up and sent back to HO within 5 days of attending ceremony is that correct? should I send via recorded delivery so I have proof of sending it?

What will be the date of naturalisation on the naturalisation certificate?

Is it the date of your ceremony? If yes, does that mean the date is written on your certificate on the day you receive it, by someone at the council?

My council does not provide this online citizenship booking facility so can't check. They also don't provide any info when I call. Postman has not come by yet today!

Cold winter relax - my status updated same date as you. We are not even close yet to 10 working days being up. If you go through March timelines thread you can see a number of cases where letter arrived close to the 2 week mark. I'm trying to not worry until it is actually Tuesday next week

Yes I noted this too. I guess we can't know if it was a glitch in the system but my personal feeling is that the specific dates noted with the status updates are arbitrary and not really accurate, but status update itself can be relied on. At least something is moving along. I applied on 17th march....

I think this would be sensible evidence to provide and can't imagine what else you could use as evidence. Along with the documents you listed I would also write a letter explaining what you did before that you were not working etc and how your documents provide evidence of residency. In my experienc...
