Re: How can ILR holder get fast-tracked for eVisa?

Thanks all. For future reference in case others are in the same situation: I got this resolved in the end by providing a share code https://www.gov.uk/prove-right-to-work/ ... ode-online to the embassy. The share code can also be produced without an UKVI account.

Re: How can ILR holder get fast-tracked for eVisa?

Many thanks for your reply, zimba. Proving ILR is indefinite makes no sense. I fully agree. ILR means indefinite leave to remain and embassy workers of other countries very likely know this I hope that this will be the case and that the embassy worker won't be confused by the BRP expiration date. Re: Permitted to apply for Child Benefit under ILR?

Thank you CR001, I am happy about this news.

But how can I be sure that the “no recourse to public funds restriction” does not apply to me?

Can you think of any disadvantages in the future if I go ahead claiming Child Benefit?

Thanks again!

Permitted to apply for Child Benefit under ILR?

I have received ILR a few years ago due to having been in the UK for 10 years. Recently my first child was born and the child has British citizenship. ...
