Re: EU Settlement Scheme and 12 months

The requirement to wait for one year after acquiring ILR/PR/Settled Status applies to all applicants not married to a British citizen, irrespective of how many years they may have already resided in the UK. It even applies to people who get ILR on the 10 year Long residence pathway. Thank you! A bi...

But nothing stopped you from applying and getting the Settled status last year. So you would have been in position to apply fo...

Tier1 to EU or not?

Hello I am a Croatian Citizen living in the UK since 2010. My country joined EU 1/7/13. As I was in the UK 12+ months on that date I am exempt from the transition period. I was wondering: 1. Would it be good to apply now for a Blue Registration Certificate or not? 2. If one day I will apply for a Br...

OMG

Croatia is part of the EU.

She is an EU citizen.

She can move here and work as self employed and that is it.

Or why dont you just get married?

I dont understand why do you complicate somethig as easy as this?

Thank you for your answer.

Just to double check. For example if i want to apply for British citizenship after 5 years will they count those 5 years as:

3 years Tier 1
2 years EU/EEA route

?

Thanks

Croatia joining EU 1/7/13

It is typical for UKBA not to publish the information on time. There is only 4 months before Croatia joins EU and UKBA said nothing what will happen with the people from Croatia legally living in the UK. I am Tier1 visa holder. I know only that they will put restrictions on Croatian workers and that...

BRP delivery time

I know they say delivery time is 5-10 working days but from PEO experience post I see that almost everyone received their BRP in 2 working days. It has been 6 working days and I sill haven't got it.

Should I worry?
