Expired passport with ILR

Hi guys, Just a quick question. I currently hold ILR, however my passport expired back in July. Do i need a valid passport in order to remain in the UK legally even though i have no plan to travel overseas anytime soon? Trusted google doesnt yield any results and I hope you guys can help. Thanks, M

I got ILR in March 2012 and received a BRP card, hence my question on if your ILR is in your passport. No, you cannot use your BNO passport for BRP in the form. The passport is not a BRP. The question asks if you have received a BRP card, then answer is no. If the question is 'have you every submit...

Well if you do not have a BRP Card (i.e. your ILR is pasted in your passport as a vignette), then you answer 'NO'. BRP = Biometric Residence Permit card (looks similar to a drivers licence). BRP is not the same as a passport. Strange as late 2012 BRPs were already being issued for ILR applications ...

Hi,

on the stamp it stated 1st aug 2003, and i was away till 1st september 2003, which is the next stamp, and therefore have a month gap.

i think i should clarify a little bit here, when i said aug 2003 i mean "1 aug 2003", sorry should have stated earlier.

so what i am saying here is the period between 1 aug to 31 aug.

I've been in this relationship for more than 2 yeas now.
Don't want it to sound like "oh he just wanna stay in the UK"
ATM I'm just exploring our options, we may even move abroad if things don't work out here, but her family is in the UK and that's my main concern..
