The best option is to have a joint account so Home office have no reason to object.

I doubt very much that home office accept your letter "money is available to your team member"

Dear fellow members,

My partner did a masters degree from a well know univesity. We submitted our extension together. He was also invited for interview and being asked questions about business.

So i guess its not only applicants with english courses to go through interview.
