Re: JCAP and Passport Application

Thanks Guys!

I called HMPO this morning and they still haven't received any notification from HO. So I called HO (with my ref number) and they said they don't have access to that area of the system so they are not sure if HMPO is notified or not.

JCAP and Passport Application

Hi I had submitted my application under JCAP scheme (it was done through a different council as my council is still not a part of JCAP). I had my citizenship ceremony yesterday in my council. I asked the lady if they are going to notify the passport office to which she said, as they are not a part o...

Re: Actual experience on using language for ILR after 2013 o

I got my ILR after Oct 2013 so I just ticked an appropriate option. NCS staff asked me to provide the same docs that I'd provided earlier at the time of ILR for English Language. So, I provided degree certificate, transcript and a print out of PBS calculator (thankfully I'd saved it in PDF.) I also ...

NOC from landlord?

Hello My in-laws and parents have visited a couple of times (on general visitor visa where I was a sponsor) in the past but we never provided a "No Objection Certificate" from the landlord. Someone told me that recently they have started asking for NOC from the landlord if you are renting a flat/acc...

Are you sure it is a royal mail tracking number? Some councils send the docs through DX.

Travelling whilst an application is under process

Hi I have submitted my naturalisation application a few weeks ago. It has been received and acknowledged. I'm also done with the biometric. Now it is just wait n watch. If I want to travel now whilst my application is under process, do I need to let the HO know about it? It is a short trip (4-5 days...

Does it make sense to voluntarily send the NARIC certificate before they even ask for it?

As there is no NARIC ELA with my application, will they reject my application straight away or they will ask for it?

Re: Actual experience on using language for ILR after 2013 o

Hi I had my NCS appointment 2 weeks ago. The member of staff at NCS said, even if I have ticked that special 2013 box, I have to submit the degree certificates and everything that I used to prove language skills at the time of ILR. I also brought the fact to her notice that the PBS is no longer avai...

No Tracking Number

Hi Me and wife submitted the naturalisation application today (along with the PP application) at Brent council. We haven't been given any tracking number. The member of staff verified the docs, took photocopies and said "that's it!". I noticed on the timelines posts that people could track their app...

Hello

Is it true that if I am submitting my PP application at the same time (JCAP), I don't need sign from counter signatory?

Cheers

Hello As per the guideline, one of the referees should be a professional. I am planning to get my friend sign it as he is the director of a limited company. My question is, although he is the director, I don't him professionally. I know him as a friend. Would there be any issue? If not, what should ...
