Re: ILR through Spouse of a British Citizen, Absence of Leave and COVID-19

Thank you, that puts me at ease.

But they do ask in the application for all the absence. They even did it for her spouse renewal.

Is it for some other reason?

Many thanks,

Re: How early can I apply for spouse extension?

Yes, sorry, the overstay question is for my close friend.

And the British citizenship is for my husband.

This question is for myself.

Sorry, Home I am not breaking rules. But they all are genuine questions. I am not a lawyer or something.

Many thanks,
Karthik

Re: Citizenship through naturalisation and self-employment

Hi sfljiaf, Yes I unticked self-employed and just had Director ticked. Now it's not asking for HMRC returns on the documents checklist.

But is that correct?

If you dont mind, how long have you been waiting for your application?

Re: Citizenship through naturalisation and self-employment

Thank you,

So during online application should I untick the box where it say HMRC returns on document checklist?

I tried this and the application validation doesn't let me go further.

Many thanks,
Karthik

Re: ***URGENT*** Overstayed 13 days as of today on spouse visa

So it means 5 more years on spouse visa and then ILR if she apply from her home country.

It seems to be a better option.

FLR(FP) seems a long route.

Many thanks

Re: ***URGENT*** Overstayed 13 days as of today on spouse visa

Thank you for all the advice.

Does this mean, she has to go back and apply from her home country?

What kind of application can she make from her home country?

Many thanks

Also please let me know, what kind of application I should make in order to get successful outcome. She is in employment, and her HR missed reminding about her visa expiry. Re: ***URGENT*** Overstayed 13 days as of today on spouse visa

Thank you for the quick reply. Does 10 year route means she has to start fresh? Or she has to spent 5 more years to get qualified for ILR? Because she already spent 5 full years here on 2x spousal visa.

Many thanks
