Re: Queries regarding Residency Proof and Rent Payment Documentation

Regarding the daft.ie rent agreement, I believe I have a legitimate legal agreement in place. However, I'm unsure if it fulfills the requirements for Residency Proof. My landlord advertised the rental property on daft.ie, and when I signed the lease, I received a rent agreement through daft.ie. For ...

Re: Seeking advice on employment permit and Stamp 4 eligibility

I've received conflicting information. A solicitor mentioned that a total of 21 months is permitted for both permits combined as 12 weeks apply only if I'm on a single permit. I'm unsure if there is a definite answer.

Does anyone know for sure what's the rule here?

Seeking advice on employment permit and Stamp 4 eligibility

Hi everyone, I need some advice regarding my employment permit. I'm currently on my second Critical Skills Employment Permit (CSEP) and have spent a total of 21 months under these permits. However, my current permit is set to expire in September 2024. I found a form for requesting a stamp 4 support ...

Re: Eligibility for Stamp 4 Support Letter after Job Loss and Unemployment: Questions on Dates and Criteria

Thank you both for the prompt responses. Regarding the support letter documentation, I'm wondering if I need to submit both employment permits or not. I didn't see any mention of employment permits in the "Requirements for supporting documentation" section on the following page: https://enterprise.g...

Re: Reside an additional year or wait until completing just the days stayed outside Ireland?

Thank you for the prompt response. In regard to my previous inquiry, I would like to provide additional information. In one specific year, I travelled from January 1st, 2022, to February 12th, 2022. Let's say my departure from Dublin was on January 1st, 2022, but my arrival in my home country was on...

Reside an additional year or wait until completing just the days stayed outside Ireland?

Hi all, (Asking this for a friend). Let's say that I have been a resident of this country for five years, with the exception of one year during which I remained outside the country for a period of seven weeks or 49 days. According to the regulations, time spent outside the country for more than six ...

Re: Incorrect arrival stamp by immigration officer

That's weird since all the stamps I had have the date hardcoded. Did he write it in manually or? I say you'll be fine if you put the stamp according to your actual arrival date; it can't be May 2025, however you count. You can (and, probably, should) include this in a cover letter. Nope, he didn't ...

Incorrect arrival stamp by immigration officer

Hi there, When I returned to Ireland from my native country in May 2022, the immigration officer at Dublin Airport stamped my passport with an arrival stamp. The year on the stamp is wrong, though. He stamped "May 2025" instead of "May 2022." I see that in addition to the citizenship application, I ...

Do I need a new visa when I renew my passport?

Hello,

I work in Ireland, and my IRP is valid until April 2023. I came to India for a vacation, and I have renewed my passport here.

Could you please let me know if I require a new visa now that my passport has been renewed?

Thanks a million in advance.

Re: I am a non-eu citizen holding Stamp 1 but now I am redundant

Yes, if it lies within those six months. Today, I spoke with the solicitor. The solicitor informed me that I could visit India and come back to Ireland only after receiving a new job permit and my new IRP using that permit. This is because I will be asked about how I'm trying to enter Ireland witho...

Re: I am a non-eu citizen holding Stamp 1 but now I am redundant

What you mean BRP? Do you mean IRP? Apologies, I mean IRP. If you find a new employer during this time, they can apply for a new work permit. After you get your new work permit, you can start working then you need to update your IRP details with your new employer. You don't need to do new applicati...

Re: How many days in a year can I be outside Ireland if I am trying for Stamp 4 & Citizenship?

Hi there, I am on a Critical Skills Employment Permit (Stamp 1 visa). A couple of questions please: Question 1: To be eligible for Stamp 4, I guess I must have lived in the state for 21 months. That means I can leave Ireland for 3 months in the next 2 years. Am I right? Question 2: You can leave Ire...
