HI similar problem i faced what i did i send postal application just get british passport application form and fill detail and send child full birth certificate and your PR card with his application thats it they will send you back your original documents back

If your appeal is pending you (and assuming you applied for ILR BEFORE your visa expiry) then you get section 3C protection so you can work. And also we hvnt received any Approval letter, the documents doesnt include decision letter. would that come seperatley or did they missed it ? pls let me know I think they mistakenly send back old BRP also they missed aproval letter send the BRP back to home office and mentioned about aproval letter
