Re: Passport Application Discussion 2022

My Irish passport was delivered this morning. It was printed and dispatched yesterday August 23rd. I think that was pretty fast. Tracking says passport card is being printed and I expect to receive it and the supporting documents at some point next week. The whole journey took roughly 2.5 years for ...

Re: Passport Application Discussion 2022

I submitted my online application on July 27 and sent the document on August 01 but the application status remains on "Application received on 27/7" since then. It's been over 2 weeks and no change in the status. I'm just going to be patient for another week and see what happens. The estimation date...

Re: British citizen living in Ireland visting UK with non-EU spouse

You are correct! But I believe the same thing should apply to all non-EU spouses regardless of the country of nationality. The fact that she's a nonEU spouse of a British citizen doesn't play any role on her right to be in the UK on its own, so same thing applies to spouses, just not in the good wa...

Re: British citizen living in Ireland visting UK with non-EU spouse

But I believe the same thing should apply to all non-EU spouses regardless of the country of nationality. Not all nationalities require a pre-approved visa. Many get a visa on arrival, ie. New Zealand, Australia, USA etc. Like I mentioned earlier, we travelled together in 2018 without her needing a...

Based on your previous posts, your spouse/child are Nigerian? They need a visa to visit the UK. Please always bear in mind that the UK and Rep of Ireland share immigration information. Re: non-EEA Dependant Parents - Accompany or Join type visa

Hi Roxyali3005,

Did you apply under the EU Directive? From where did u apply? Type C visa application under EU Directive should never take 5 months under any circumstance. You may need to lodge a complaint.
