Re: Child benefit claim

The child benefit is based on both your's and your partner's income levels separately, so it should not matter I believe.

Re: British Passport Application with no foreign passport

Thanks everyone for your responses. I am happy my passport is back from the Italian Consulate after briefly desperately chasing them to abort my Schengen application only to get it back stamped! Never mind, I can't use this visa anyway for my travel. Need to apply for the British Passport as soon as...

Re: British Passport Application with no foreign passport

Okay, I have already seen the British Passport application form and agree that it asks for foreign passport to support with the application form. But, in the welcome pack it clearly does not mention about the foreign passport requirement to apply for the British Passport. I think this is probably an...

Re: British Passport Application with no foreign passport

Thanks CR001.

But, the welcome letters provided with the British Citizenship ceremony does not state this as a requirement to apply?

Re Coutersignatures

Hi,
When applying for the British Passport, apart from the back of passport size photographs, what other places do we need countersignatures? Please advise.

Cheers

British Passport Application with no foreign passport

Hi, I am in a very awkward state that I have applied for Schengen Visa early this week so as to get for my wife as well. But, I am today I got naturalised and came to know that I have to return my BRP card which makes me to apply British Passport imminent for my holiday planned next month Easter. In...

Thanks again Mani. I left 6.3 blank - I had letter from my current employer and the last employer but I did not want to submit them voluntarily and kept them aside. as I mentioned earlier I did not submit them as my CW did not ask for it. You mentioned you have left this section blank (not ticked an...

Thanks for your quick reply. Sorry to prolong this, but did you get letter from your employer on your "each single" short personal holiday as well? or just long 111 days unpaid absence? Can you also point me to any link which you're referring to the template letter? Thanks very much indeed! Cheers

Thanks very much Mani. It would be really helpful if you can answer few more questions of mine. I see in the SET(O) application form 6.2 section which says Evidence of all work-related absences (including paid annual leave) is required from those applying under Tier 1 (General);Tier 2 (Intra-Company...

Excellent! Congratulations! I take this opportunity to ask you few questions if you may answer. 1) If it's possible can you please tell us what documents you took with you and what documents you provided to the CW? 2) Have you got any absenteeism more than 180 days? If so, did you provide any employ...

Thanks Manka for replying.

As I see this is a common reason (being away after completing 2 or 2.5 years on reassignment at offshore), I think there should be some letter template with right phrases. I appreciate you can point to me. But, I'll search in the mean while.

Cheers

Thanks Manka and Sundar. I was out of the UK between 1st Aug 2009 and 15th Dec 2009. If I apply ILR as scenarios below, my continuous absenteeism from the UK between the above stated dates would be as highlighted. Scenario 1 - Considering I'm applying in July 2013 Aug 2012 - July 2013 Aug 2011 - Jun...
