Re: Informational Post - OCI application

Hi,

I am not sure what is the current process but it is worth to write to HCI London .

Re: Extending stay from Visit Visa to OCi

In my understanding :

1 ) He cannot stay in India beyond expiry of his visitor visa.
2) Immigration officer will ask to produce his OCI book when he leaves from India, If he hasn't then he may encounter some issues.

You can send your query to Shetty B in MEA to get clarification.

Re: living in NDIA OCI (silly question)

you just have to continue to live like other Indian lives. No need for registration or police station visit.

Just don't buy land, stand in election or apply for president of India's post :-)

In my opinion, everything is important on OCI booklet.
Do you have copy of your submitted application form ? if yes then check spelling there first before contacting HCI telling their mistake

Re: Queue outside HCI London - any point reaching early?

You will likely to see long queues again as OCI and Passport applicants are required to book an appointment prior to visit.
I will advise you to check link below- go half an hour before opening time, you should be OK.
