Hi, with today's new of modi announcing that OCI & PIO will be merged in couple of months, I wanted to know whether it is advantage to get OCI or wait for merger? I see advantage of getting OCI as merger may "dilute" some of the OCI clauses? e.g. OCI people can apply for indian citizenship while PIO...

the letter heading states "Citizenship invitation application for British citizenship by *my name*"
it does tell to contact my council within 21 days, which I have done.

I have booked my ceremony but I only received 1 letter from home office stating that application is approved.
It's been 3 weeks and no invitation letter.

I am hoping on the day of ceremony, just approval letter will suffice?

Same thing happened with us. Finally came to know that query was sent to referee. Remember that letter goes to address mentioned by referee (most of the time they ask office address).
