Re: Tier 2 Visa + Supplementary Income from Blogging?

Its not a second job, you are getting a new stream of income as a by-product of a hobby. I find ot quite a stretch to interpret income from blog as a second job..
(The restriction is on supplementary job, not supplementary income) .

Re: Depedent PBS Tier 2 general visa extension

By the way, it has been assumed that you applied for your ILR based on you being 5 years on Tier 2. If for example you had applied for ILR on the basis of long residency, then your dependents will have to apply for the FLR type visa..

Re: Tier 2 redundancies

A friend of mine got redundant about 5 months ago, and he is still looking for a job. He hasn't received any curtailment letter. And once the curtailment letter arrives, it is 60 days from the date of curtailment letter. Most of the cases I have heard or know in person, it take months to arrive so I...

Re: BRP Reutrn after Ceremony?

Thank you CR001. No information in any channel?? How hard did you look?? I did not make any effort and was expecting someone to tell me during citizenship ceremony or have a leaflet during the citizenship ceremony telling me that... :) Anyway, I just opened the letter from home office (invitation to...

BRP Reutrn after Ceremony?

Hi all, I was wondering if we are supposed to return our BRP after ceremony? I have read about it in this forum and have heard the same thing from friends in the past. However, there is no information provided to me anywhere through any formal channel...I am wondering if that is still required? I ha...

Re: Four and a Half Months and still waiting

There is an email address you can use to ask for update, it is in one of the other threads in this forum. I hope you hear soon. Out of curiosity, did you not have the option go use your local council nationality checking service where they photocopy your documents and you get to keep all the origina...

Re: Email from HO , Please Help

Hi Discretion,

Thanks for the reply, and congratulations on getting your application done and dusted. Actually I applied in the beginning of August, and I got the confirmation on 07th August... so based on the timelines on this forum, my application is delayed...and I don't know why... :(

Re: Email from HO , Please Help

I emailed them after seeing this thread and then waited for a week and I got no reply. At that time I had given my case id only (and assumed that they would see my name from my email address). On friday evening, I have emailed them again giving them my full name, date of birth, case id and address. ...

ILR for PBS Dependant after the main applicant had ILR

Hi everyone, I want to inquire about the eligibility of PBS dependants (Tier 2 in my case) for ILR. Although my wife would only be eligible in 2021, I'd like to check something that is worrisome now after a friend pointed out. I have already acquired my ILR based on Tier 2 in July 2017 (and would ap...
