Re: Fiance Visa refusal overturned after Appeal Review

Ours is still in appeal and our solicitor said it would take about 8-12 months. Keep strong and try to visit your partner whenever u get a chance. That greatly helps with the horrible wait.

Spouse Visa refused based on Character. Please help!

Hi everyone, This forum has been extremely helpful to us in the many months leading up to our application and in the many months after. Today my husband got a refusal under S-EC.1.5. Here is the exact wording of the refusal letter: "You declared on your visa application form that you were convicted ...

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

Not sure why you assume it is an FLR(FP) application. All you had to do was look at users previous posts. He/she would have had to go back quiet a bit to find that post. Probably easier to ask again and I'm sure many other people were thinking the same question. Not really, simply click on a users ...

You should have got your refund by now? Did you check the account statement of the bank account you paid for your IHS fees from?

If you still haven't got it, you can write an email to the HO complaints department.

Also, have you filed your appeal yet?

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

You're right. Thing is, when I founded my company, I didn't take the salary for first 6 months, because I was already working for someone else, earning enough money, so common sense says I shouldn't take the money from newly founded business and I should let it improve first. After 6 months, I saw ...

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

Basically they refused coz I didn't get any Salary from the company for the first 6 months of establishment.....

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

Hi, No it doesn't work anymore. It said 'Decided' in the morning. But says not recognised now. Maybe something wrong? Yea, I fear that UKVI must have patched it up to not show the status to anyone outside of the UK. Btw, congrats on your decision email! InshaAllah it's a positive decision! Do keep ...

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

They told me it was complex and took 6 months, even though I applied with priority. Only think complex I think would be coz I'm self employed, director of my own company. I have provided all the documentation and accounts etc. It should all be fine tbh, salary is around 40k a year too. I have mortg...

That is not true. Mine changed to inactive back in May and I'm still waiting...

And the active/inactive status on your visa4UK has nothing to do with your application.

Re: WHERE TO SUBMIT TUBERCULOSIS CERTIFICATE

It gets sent to Sheffield along with all the other documents that need to be sent to them.

Make sure you take a photocopy and keep it safe with you. In the event that you get the visa, you will need to travel to the UK with the photocopy.

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

Hi, Yeah, the tracker says decision made on 15th August, it says it online and yes, the costumer service people said it's made and they emailed me as well stating this. I applied from VFS office in Bangkok. So you think the visa is approved hence why they taking time to get it stamped etc etc? Stil...

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

I applied for my wife's settlement visa in Bangkok on 24th Feb 2017. Had 'not straight forward' email, but nothing else. (We only got this email after chasing them) On 15th August, after 6months, they have emailed us saying the decision has been made! (Which is a good thing after waiting) BUT they ...

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

It does say that it will affect all DECISIONS made after 10th August. See how they don't mention applications made date? It could be a worrying sign, but there is no way they can retrospectively refuse your visa when you fully met the requirements at the time of application.

Only time will tell..

Re: Spouse visa application refused; advice on appeal...

It matters not what you tell me , what matters is what you put in your application and representation made, what inference can be reasonably drawn from it by a judge, and what you set out in your application. In my experience ECO manager don't tend to overturn Section 320(11) decision on review, so...

Re: Spouse visa application refused; advice on appeal...

Sorry to hear about your refusal. As Obie has stated, it does seem harsh to refuse you under 320(11) without aggravating circumstances. Have you ever received any tax credits or NHS care?

And could you also post a detailed timeline of your application.
