The surrender Certificate also shows number and date of issuance of the British Passport. I would therefore conclude that one must provide copy of the British Passport in order to obtain surrender certificate. I may be wrong though.

£175x2 doesnt add up to £300. I suggest you carry exact change. Also note that:
Full signature in the box should be provided in case of major. Thumb impression (left hand thumb for male & right hand thumb for female) or signature should be provided in case of minor.

We accept Cash or Postal order only at the counter while submitting the application in person.
