Was looking at my options. As a duel citizen I cannot enter SA with my British passport. Planning on travelling in July. Looks like I may have to request an emergency certificate. (unexpected due to my dad just being diagnosed with cancer and only months to live)

Hello I applied for a renewal of my SA passport on the 25/10/21. Does anyone have experience of how long it would take to receive?
If anyone has any actual experience of receiving this in 3/4 months?

What a dilemma booking. Its so stressing. Pregnant have a 2year old and been up trying since midnight. Came to work trying constantly. Finally just managed to book an appointment for the 7th Aug. Had to pay extra as the time was early but had no choice as this is a killer to your brain and anxiety! ...

I have been trying since 7.30am, have the page open and keep changing centres. Nothing.
Besides midnight does anyone know times that are good to look?

Thanks for your reply. I'm concerned as all the centers have blocked out August now and only appointments for September. My plan is to keep trying and then post if nothing comes up. I will call the register office and ask about the certified copy. We pay so much for this terrible service.

Full 5 year documents or 2.5yrs?
Bank statements, should I show just 6 months or 6 months and random ones for 2.5yrs?
Is my daughters birth certificate classed as a joint name document as it has both our names?

On the Set (M) form (5 year) spouse route there is a question on absence from the UK.

Do I state absences for the full five years being married or for 2.5 year?

First got my spouse visa 02/09/2103 exp 02/03/2106 got next one on 26/2/16 exp 31/08/18

entered Aug 2008 as student. Applied for 2.5 yrs spouse Aug 2013 ended March 2016 applied again from march 2016 ends Aug 2018

Yes completed a FLM form. looking at my Biometric card I got the further 2.5yrs which means in total I have completed 5 years.

no i don't have it I got confused by all the forms.
