Finally have applied family visitor visa for my mother in feb 11 and got that stamped last week for 6 months.

So after 2 rejections and an oral appeal dismissal as well still the visa application was sucessful.

Just a query on the duration of stay as i am applying for my mother visa and in invitation letter stating for 3 months.

If she gets a Visa for 180 days, can't she stay for whole six months at a stretch even though we stated 3 months in her application letter (Not application form)

Hey, also i guess you can add up your july09 and august09 gross salary amount (even though u have paid taxes and stuff ).

I think by ordering from HSBC phone banking, they will send you an up to date statement. You need to specifically tell them that u need it to apply visa, there are aware of the standards.

Also If u go to bank and ask for it, they won't be able to provide you.

I think the Tier 2 has overriden Tier 1. So now tier 1 becomes invalid.
