As per my understanding of immigration laws you become an overstayer once refused and you exhaust all appeals.. unless you apply within 14 days for a fresh application.. exception for overstayers 39B. Well then you sound like an overstayer till ur DLR was granted. I don’t think you get any advantage as asylum seekers do.
